Other ways to help!
MRCT has a lot going on – some roles serve a number of projects
We need different kinds of people with different skills – see if these suit you?
Our volunteers
- Van drivers – picking up food from supermarkets, moving packages of food or baby items to deliver to others
- Supermarket days – handing out leaflets of our most needed items on days when we are allowed to promote the Foodbank
- Communications and campaigning- we want to get rid of poverty in Harlow – join a new team working out how best to get support for that
- Corporate volunteer days! We regularly organise days at our Store House where teams from local businesses or clubs can spend some time helping our operation.
Call us on 01279 724515 or write to enquiries@mrct.org.uk to discuss

We usually arrange volunteers in 4 groups of 3, for 2 hours at a time:
9 – 11 am
11 – 1 pm
1 – 3 pm
3 – 5 pm
By helping in this way you help us get about 5 times what we would normally be given in a day!
If you can manage any of these shifts please contact us – it will be greatly appreciated.
