SWITHENBANK – New Community Partner

News

January 2015

We are very pleased to announce that we now have a new Community Partner – Swithenbank in Hoddesdon, who will be working in partnership with Harlow Foodbank by providing fresh food items to us each week which we will re-distribute to local people in crisis and to organisations working on the front-line.  This will greatly complement the current range of fresh food that we receive and distribute from other local companies in the community who include Couzens – Fresh Bread, Greenways Eggs, UK Salads and High Tress Packers Ltd – Potatoes.

“We are delighted with this new community partnership with Swithenbank as it will extend our range of fresh food which we can offer to people in crisis alongside the non-perishable food that we already provide.   Special thanks to Kevin Tierney (Community Development Coordinator for Harlow Foodbank) for his work in securing this new partnership.”
