Community partnership with UK Salads

June 2014

We are very pleased to announce that we now have a new Community Partner – UK Salads Ltd  based in Roydon, who will be working in partnership with Harlow Foodbank by providing donated salad items to us each week, which we will distribute to local people in crisis.  These items include  peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and aubergines and will complement the current range of fresh food that we receive and distribute from other local companies in the community (Couzens – Fresh Bread, Greenway – Eggs and (High Tress Packers Ltd – Potatoes).

“We are delighted with this new community partner as it will extend our range of fresh food which we can offer to people in crisis alongside the non-perishable food that we already provide.  Special thanks to Kevin Tierney (Community Development Coordinator for Harlow Foodbank) for his work in securing this new partnership.”
